Service Description

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle hands-on therapy that is used to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. It is based on the idea that the brain, spinal cord, and surrounding membranes are interconnected and that any restriction in the movement of these structures can affect the health of the entire body. CST practitioners use their hands to detect and release restrictions in the craniosacral system. This is done by applying very light pressure to the head, neck, and spine. The practitioner can also use their hands to sense the movement of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), a clear fluid that surrounds and protects the brain and spinal cord. CST is often used to treat a variety of conditions, including: Headaches Neck pain Back pain Migraines Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder Anxiety Depression Autism Learning disabilities Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) CST is a safe and effective therapy that can be used by people of all ages.
